Elizabeth was not included with her parents in the list of those who immigrated in 1856 on the “Alice Tainter.”
According to the 1900 and 1920 censuses she immigrated in 1855. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States.
In 1860 Elizabeth lived in Avon, Lorain County, Ohio with the family of Sylvester and Theresa Ford.
In 1900 she lived in Avon, Lorain County, Ohio with her son Jacob, his wife Elizabeth and their son. The census reported incorrectly that she had had one child and that child was living. In January of 1920 Elizabeth lived with her son Michael in Avon.

In 1850 he lived with his father and two of his siblings in Avon, Lorain County, Ohio.
The Civil War draft registration records reported that he was a farmer who lived in Avon, Lorain County, Ohio. In 1870 he lived with his wife Elizabeth and their four children in Sheffield Township, Lorain County. His father Theodore Weber lived with them. In 1880 Peter and his wife Elizabeth lived in Sheffield with their seven children. Peter’s age was listed as 50.
The probate court record gave his age as 52 years, 1 month and 12 days, giving a birthdate of October 15, 1832.
