In 1900 and 1910 he and his wife lived in Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio with their three children. In 1910 a boarder, Cecelia Cichy, lived with them. In 1920 Edward and his wife and their son Joseph, as well as their daughter Clara, her husband Leo Cichy [Sheak], and their son Richard lived in North Ridgeville, Lorain County, Ohio. The census reported that Clara was Edward and Mary’s daughter rather than their niece.
