By 1935 she resided in East Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The 1940 federal census reported that she lived with the family of her sister Agnes, Agnes’ husband James Crawford and her sisters Catherine and Constance. Her death certificate gave her last name as Cook.
According to Ancestry.com--U.S. City Directories, 1821-1989, a Mildred M. Diederich was a stenographer living at 582 85th St. in Cleveland.
