According to the records of St. Stephan Catholic Church in Polch, she was a baptismal sponsor in 1772 for Anna Gertrud Geisen, the daughter of Jodocus Geisen and Maria Anna Ackermann of Polch.
She was a baptismal sponsor in 1772 for Sebastian, the son of Heinrich Adams and Anna Maria Zils of Muenstermaifeld.
According to Bossier, Johann and Gertrud built a new house on their hof in 1775. After Johann’s death, Gertrud ran the business of the hof until 1770, and then continued to manage it with the assistance of her three sons until the time of the French invasion.
