Notes for Eva (Spouse 1)
Source: Records of St. Kastor Catholic Church in Forst and St. Martin and St. Severus Catholic Church in Muenstermaifeld. Source of the date of her death: Manfred Ruettgers.
Her baptismal sponsors were Balthasar Broll of Pyrmonterhoefe and Eva, the daughter of Johann Becker of Weilerhof. Her first name was given in the marriage record for her daughter Agnes in 1753.
Source of her maiden name, her birthplace, and of the year she died: “Sevenich bei Muenstermaifeld...” by Hans Bossier. Bossier says that the people in this hof were in the highest ranks of society in 1747. After her husband died in 1758, Eva managed the hof until 1770 when her sons married.
She was a baptismal sponsor in 1743 for Johann Anton, the son of Johann Sevenich and Dorothea Sevenich of Sevenich, and in 1769 for her grandson Jacob, the son of Johann Weckbecker and Gertrud Albrecht of Sevenich.
She may have been a baptismal sponsor in 1729 for Johann Anton, the son of her husband’s brother Wilhelm Weckbecker and Agnes Rham of Kalscherhof.
