Anna Elizabeth’s father and Nikolaus’s parents immigrated to the United States on the same ship, the “Mount Vernon.” They sailed from Antwerp, Belgium to New York, New York, arriving on August 12, 1846.
She had four children, three of whom were alive in 1910.
