Branching Out: Original Prints by Mary D. Ott

My solo show in May 2019 at Touchstone Gallery in Washington, DC featured hand-pulled prints with an arboreal theme. Much of my recent work included images of grasses, both realistic and abstract. This exhibit “branched out” from that work to present hand-pulled prints of leaves, trees, and landscapes.

Among the print media included in the exhibit were intaglio (etching, drypoint) and lithography (paper plate, polyester plate). These artworks, whether black-and-white or color prints, express my love of nature.
