The 1920 federal census for Chicago, Cook County, Illinois reported that on January 7, 1920 Leonora Midkiff lived in Chicago with her son, her parents and siblings. She was 21-years-old, married, and a telegraph operator.
However, the 1920 federal census for Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio reported that on January 8, 1920 Lenora L. Cichy lived on Prospect Ave. in Cleveland as a boarder. She was reported to be a 21-year-old widow who worked as a telegraph operator.
Leonora’s marriage record in 1920 was from Cuyahoga County. The record states that she lived on Prospect Ave. in Cleveland. The priest who married her was from North Ridgeville, Lorain County, Ohio.
