The draft registration cards give his birthdate as September 4, 1887 rather than September 3. In 1910 he and his wife lived in Marshfield, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, next door to his parents and his brother Joseph P., Joseph’s wife and daughter. He had resided in Wabeno, Forest County, Wisconsin at least since 1920, but he died in Townsend, Oconto County, Wisconsin. He had 10 daughters, 2 sons, 40 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
