In 1900 she lived in Avon, Lorain County, Ohio with her son Joseph. She had had 12 children, seven of whom were living in 1900. In 1920 she lived with her daughter Katherine, her son-in-law Charles H. Macrow and their son Lester in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

He and his wife immigrated to Lorain County, Ohio in 1868. In 1870 he lived with his wife and two children in Avon, Lorain County. His name was written “Goepp.” A 76-year-old woman named Barbara “Goepp” lived with them. She was probably his mother. In 1880 he and his wife and children lived in Avon.
