His baptismal sponsors were Wilhelm Heidger and Anna Huerter of Metternich [the sister of the child’s mother]. He was a baptismal sponsor in 1747 for Wilhelm, the son of Peter Gaudentz and Anna Schatz of Metternich and in 1753 for Wilhelm, the son of Nikolaus Suesterhenn and Anna Maria Schuberack of Metternich. Wilhelm Heidger and Wilhelm Suesterhenn were first cousins once removed.
