Notes for Joseph Huerter

Manfred Ruettgers provided the connection between Joseph, the son of Johann Huerter and Anna Maria Weber, and the husband of Anna Maria Puelicher. He was a synodalis in the Catholic church.
His baptismal sponsors were Joseph Lauteren von Eltz and Anna Maria Marx of Metternich.
He was a baptismal sponsor in 1760 for Joseph, the son of Johann Adams and Susanna Zimmerman of Muenstermaifeld; in 1768 for Anna Katharine, the daughter of his wife’s third cousin Apollonia Seul and Johann Suesterhenn of Muenstermaifeld; and in 1770 for Johann Joseph, the son of Jacob Kalter and Barbara Simonis of Muenstermaifeld.
Joseph and Anna Maria were third cousins once removed. Peter Huerter and Sophie were his ggg grandparents and her gg grandparents.
Notes for Anna Maria (Spouse 1)
Source: Records of St. Martin and St. Severus Catholic Church in Muenstermaifeld.
Her baptismal sponsors were Nikolaus Poer, villicus hospitalis, [who was married to her father’s sister Katharine Puelicher], and [her grandmother] Anna Maria [Kirsch], the widow of Johann Anton Mies.
Manfred Ruettgers provided the identification of Anna Maria Puelicher, the wife of Joseph Huerter, as the daughter of Sebastian Puelicher and Margarete Mies, as well as the information about her wedding in 1768. The fact that she was the same Anna Maria Puelicher who husband Nikolaus Gilles had died in March of 1768 was suggested by the pattern of baptismal sponsors for the Gilles children.
