Anna Maria sailed with her husband and her 4-month-old son from London, England on the ship “Gladiator,” arriving in New York, New York on August 7, 1846.
The 1860 census listed her age as 32, giving her a birth year of about 1828. However the ship’s register for the Gladiator gave her age as 26, giving her a birth year of about 1820.
