According to Tonner’s Kelberg data file, Apollonia immigrated to Avon, Lorain County, Ohio in 1848 and then moved to Henry County, Ohio.
In 1850 she and her children lived in Avon near the family of Peter Schneider, a 50-year-old shoemaker from Germany. He may have been her brother. Her name was written Ablonia Romis. In 1860 she may have lived in Avon with her son John and his family. The individual was enumerated as “Mary Snider,” a 56-year-old- woman from Germany who was a farmer.
