Notes for Friedrich Muennich

Muennich was spelled as Munnig or Munigs or Munnich. He was a hofmann (overseer) in Rosental and his family lived in Illerich. The church records from Klotten do not include many names of the children who were born during this period.
According to Stefan Buch, Friedrich was a baptismal sponsor in 1686 for Agnes, daughter of Philipp Esper and Maria Katharine Claas of Klotten.
He was also a baptismal sponsor in 1664 for Friedrich Schaden, the son of Johann Schaden and Margaretha of Illerich.

Anna Katharine Moentenich may have been related to Barbara Moentenich of Kavelocherhof as well as Nikolaus Moentenich of Illerich. Nikolaus Moentenich of Illerich was a baptismal sponsor in 1671 for Magdalene, daughter of Friedrich Muennich and his second wife Maria Agnes.
