In 1880 Antone Laux (spelled Loux) was a boarder living in the boarding house run by Peter Webber in Berlin Heights, Erie County, Ohio. In 1900 he lived in Maple Grove Township, Saginaw County, Michigan with his children Elizabeth, John, Mary, christina, and Martin. The census reported that he was a widower. In 1910 he lived in Maple Grove Township with his children John, Mary, Christine and Martin and his mother Emma Laux. In 1920 he lived with his sons Martin and John and daughter Thina (Christina) in Maple Grove Township. The census reported that he was married but his wife was not enumerated with his family. In 1930 he lived in Maple Grove with his children Martin and Christina. The 1930 census reported that he had immigrated in 1874 and had become a naturalized United States citizen.
