The 1900 census reported that Barbara had had two children, neither of whom was living. The 1910 census reported that she had had five children, all of whom were living.
In 1930 Barbara lived with her son Henry, daughter Marian and son Arthur in North Ridgeville, Lorain County, Ohio. She was a widow.
In 1935 and 1940 Barbara lived in North Ridgeville with her son Arthur. Her daughter Angeline, son-in-law Francis Machovina and their family lived next door.
