At the time of her marriage she lived in Stepney, Middlesex County, England. She immigrated to the United States in 1867. She and her husband arrived in New York, New York on September 28, 1867 on the ship “America.”
She had nine children, of whom six were living in 1900.
In 1900 she lived with five of her children in St. Louis (city), Missouri. She signed her will on April 1, 1902.
Her cause of death was gall stones.

In 1870 he and his wife and two children lived in Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois. The family moved to St. Louis (city), Missiouri between November 1871 and February 1874. In 1880 he and his wife, children and a niece lived in St. Louis (city).
He died of a lung hemorrhage.
