In 1910 he lived with his parents and his sister Mary and her two sons in Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio. In 1920, 1930 and 1940 he lived there with his wife and daughter Delores.
He worked for railroads most of his life. In 1940 he was a freight conductor for a steam railroad. He then became a conductor for the New York Central Railroad.
