According to information obtained by Manfred Ruettgers, Peter Pauli was a fusilier in the (French) 1st Infantry Batallion, 2nd Company and was injured on January 11, 1811. He died on January 15, 1811 at the Military Hospital at Santander in Spain. He was 20 years old.
