Johann’s parents were Matthias Goedderz and Katharine Schlosser. Johann and Margarete immigrated to Wisconsin in 1868 with their children Katharine and Peter. Another child born in Arbach died as an infant. They had two sons born in Wisconsin who died in infancy.
