Notes for Gertrud Muennich
Gertrud Muennich, wife of the overseer of Fahrendeierhof (Anton Heucher), was widowed in 1743. Johann Weyler married a woman named Gertrud in 1744 at about the same time that he became the new overseer of Fahrendeierhof. One of the baptismal sponsors for Johann and Gertrud’s only child was Peter Muennich of Esperhof, brother of the above-mentioned Gertrud Muennich of Fahrendeierhof. For these reasons I have identified Johann’s wife Gertrud as Gertrud Muennich, born 1713 in Esperhof to Peter Muennich and Anna Maria, and widow of Andreas Heucher.
Gertrud was a baptismal sponsor in 1730 for Gertrud, the daughter of Reinhard Muennich and Elisabeth of Illerich. She was also a baptismal sponsor in 1730 for Johann Franz Gilles, son of her half-brother Johann Anton Gilles and Elisabeth Kayser of Esperhof.
Notes for Andreas (Spouse 1)
Andreas was the son of Franz Heucher and Sophie (who was from Esperhof). He was an overseer of the estate at Fahrendeierhof.
Notes for Johann (Spouse 2)
Johann Weyler was the villicus (overseer) of Fahrendeierhof. He was a baptismal sponsor in 1787 for his grandson, Johann Muennich, son of Johann Muennich and Gertrud Weyler of Greimersburg.
