Notes for Anna Maria Laubach
Source: Records of St. Maximin Catholic Church in Klotten; and Manfred Ruettgers.
Ruettgers has Nov. 30, 1684 as her birthdate rather than Nov. 3, 1684.
Notes for Nikolaus (Spouse 1)
Source: Records of St. Maximin Catholic Church in Klotten and of St. Servatius Catholic Church in Landkern; and Manfred Ruettgers who provided Nikolaus’s birth information and the connection between Nikolaus and his parents.
According to the church records, hIs baptismal sponsors were Nikolaus Jungclas and Barbara Lauxen of Kavelocherhof. However his family name was given as Hofmann.
Nikolaus was a hoffman (overseer) at Stiltzhausen from about 1707 to 1742.
Johann Claas’s baptismal record is missing from the records from Klotten. He was most likely born during the period 1715-1725 for which there are no records available. He was matched with this family because he was from Stiltzhausen.
Nikolaus was a witness at the wedding of Johann Peter Claas of Annischerhof and (Maria) Angela Schaeffges of Landkern in 1731.
Nikolaus or his son Nikolaus was a baptismal sponsor in 1730 for Gertrud, daughter of Reinhard Muennich and Elisabeth of Illerich.
