Anton’s baptismal sponsors were Anton GIlles, synodalis of Landkern, and Anna Sophie Muesch of Landkern. Johann Anton Gilles was the son of Nikolaus Gilles and Sophie Muennich of Villa Beauweiler. He was married twice, first to (the other) Sophie Lauxen and then to Anna Heucher. Anna Sophie Muesch was Anna Sophie Jungbluth, daughter of Philipp Karl Jungbluth and Elisabeth Deusen. She married Matthias Pecker in 1758 and Anton Muesch, son of Peter Muesch and Maria Elisabeth Laubach, in 1774.
Anton Heucher and Anna Kraemer required a dispensation to marry because of “super tertium gradum consanguintatis.” They were second cousins. Their great grandparents were “...Schuster and unnamed.”
