His baptismal sponsors were Johann Peter Lauxen of Neidhof and Maria Gertrud Heucher of Landkern. Johann Peter Lauxen was the son of Maternus Lauxen of Kavelocherhof and Anna Katharine Claas of Annischerhof who lived in Neidhof; he married the other baptismal sponsor, Maria Gertrud Heucher of Villa Beauweiler, in 1763 and they lived in Landkern. Maria Gertrud Heucher was the daughter of Johann Heucher and Maria Pauli and the step-daughter of Johann Lauxen’s sister Sophie Lauxen.
The death records for St. Servatius Church indicate that Margarete, a young daughter of Peter Lauxen of Landkern, died on Sept. 7, 1795. It is unclear who that was.
