Johann Georg’s parents were Johann Anton Gilles and Maria Elisabeth Kayser. His baptismal sponsors were Rev. Johann Georg Kayser, pastor in Daub (?), and Maria Pauli of Illerich. Maria Pauli could have been the following, among others:
1) the daughter of Anton Pauli and Anna Maria Mohr who married Johann Heucher in 1734, the son of Nikolaus Heucher and Maria Lauxen of Villa Beauweiler in Landkern.
2) born in 1709 to Anton Pauli and Anna Gertrud of Illerich.
3) the Maria Paui who in 1741 married Anton Moentenich of Illerich, son of Johann Moentenich and Maria. She may have been the person listed above as #2.
Johann Georg became the “villicus” or overseer in Esperhof.
